Job summary

At Home Healthcare in Denver, CO, seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support patients in home-based settings under a supervising PT. You will instruct exercises, monitor progress, and adapt plans of care to meet patient goals while delivering compassionate care in patients’ homes.

Responsibilities include following state PT laws, coordinating with the care team, and educating patients and families. A weekend rotation is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed to assist in physical therapy in state of practice.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to dependable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home health PT; perform only tasks defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADLs, transfers, safety.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses; coordinates care with health team.
