Job summary

A home healthcare company in Sikeston is looking for a certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care. You will work independently while having team support, and offer flexible scheduling options in a fulfilling work environment. Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience assisting in the assessment and management of traumatic brain injury or related neurological conditions.
• Must have knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in the implementation of vocational and educational activities.
• Conduct community reintegration activities to assist individuals with their occupational therapy needs.
• Document and report status changes to treatment team members.

Skills

Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and neuro-rehabilitation techniques

Current CPR certification

Ability to work independently

Education

Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program

Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification
