Job summary

Responsibilities include ensuring participant safety, maintaining performance and equipment records, and communicating with parents while upholding MPCS policies and fostering sportsmanship and school pride.

Qualifications

• MPCS staff preferred and VHSL training requirements for athletic coaches.
• Knowledge of baseball and coaching experience desirable.
• Must be 18 years old and eligible to work under MPCS rules.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamentals, strategies, and physical training for success.
• Instruct participants on personal hygiene and safety procedures and report injuries promptly.
• Foster sportsmanship, pride in school, and commitment to team values.
• Maintain safe environment through supervision of participants.
• Assist Head Coach with performance records and equipment records.
• Communicate policies to participants and parents; uphold MPCS rules.
