Job summary

Little Elm ISD seeks an Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 year to provide engaging instruction in core subjects at the assigned campus. The role reports to the campus principal and requires compliance with district policies and TEA guidelines.

The ideal candidate will plan and implement effective lessons, differentiate instruction, and assess student progress while maintaining a positive classroom environment and professional relationships with staff and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or training for the assigned subject and level.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• ESL Certification required for all Elementary (K-5) positions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum with accommodations for diverse learners.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials to meet varied learning styles.
• Assess student achievement and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with staff to modify curricula for IEP students as needed.
• Lead classroom activities and manage student behavior in accordance with policies.
