Job summary

Eagle Valley High School seeks an Assistant Football Coach to support instruction of student-athletes in skills, strategy, and conditioning. The role promotes sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth while complying with district policies and CHSAA regulations.

You will assist in practices, games, and events, monitor academics and behavior, and help schedule tournaments and travel. Prior coaching experience and strong communication with students and staff are valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the technical aspects of the assigned sport and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Teach fundamental philosophy, skills, and techniques as directed by the Head Coach.
• Assist in organizing and conducting practices and competitions.
• Support the Head Coach in implementing program expectations, procedures, and policies.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
• Assist in evaluating players and providing input on practice planning and scheduling.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Eagle County Schools and CHSAA athletic policies and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with CHSAA and league rules.
• Attend all practices, games, and team travel; provide appropriate supervision and support.
