Job summary

Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep is seeking an English Teacher for grades 9-12 to join a Catholic, college‑preparatory program serving students from low to moderate income families.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, relevant teaching credentials, and at least two years of high school teaching experience, with a passion for writing and literature and a commitment to the school’s mission and faith life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and teaching credential or progress toward it.
• Experience teaching high school English or related subjects preferred.
• Strong tech proficiency to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach six Principal-assigned class periods.
• Supervise at least one extracurricular activity.
• Plan and prepare curriculum-based unit and lesson plans.
• Grade and record student work.
• Serve as substitute teacher when needed.
• Participate in instructional coaching and attend meetings.
• Engage in school’s religious and spiritual programs.
