Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an assistant baseball coach to train student athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical conditioning. You will foster moral values, pride, and self-discipline while promoting positive community relations within the school community.

Responsibilities include assisting with program development, scheduling practices, ensuring eligibility, and monitoring student progress.

Qualifications

• Assist with the organization and development of the high school program.
• Basic knowledge of baseball and coaching principles.
• Possess or able to acquire a valid Colorado Coaching Certificate.
• Complete CHSAA coaching registration and concussion course per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the organization and development of the high school program.
• Schedule and attend practice sessions; develop and implement training plans.
• Ensure each athlete is cleared to participate by the athletic office.
• Monitor attendance, behavior, and academic status; support student-athlete well-being.
• Apply approved first-aid/CPR when needed and respond to injuries.
• Comply with CCSD, Centennial League, and CHSAA rules and guidelines.
