The Villages of Indiana seeks a Healthy Families Supervisor to oversee operations of the program across Blackford, Jay and Randolph Counties. The role emphasizes supervision, policy adherence, and staff development in a child and family services setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree in human services or related fields, with alternative qualifications outlined (Bachelor’s with 3 years’ experience or less with commensurate HFA experience).

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in human services or fields related to working with children and families
• Bachelor’s Degree in these fields with 3 years of relevant experience
• Less than Bachelor’s with commensurate HFA experience
• Infant Mental Health Endorsement (Level I or II) preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and oversight of operations within the program, administering policies, practices, procedures, and contract compliance.
• Provide weekly, one-to-one, reflective supervision with staff, and complete all required supporting documentation.
• Mentor and coach program staff, participating with them in the field as appropriate.
• Regularly review reports, documentation and data entry for guideline adherence, accuracy, and accessibility to ensure required information is maintained for audits and annual reports as required by contract.
• Identify situations that require contact to the DCS hotline regarding concerns for the safety and well-being of children in the home
• Conduct interviewing, hiring and staff evaluation processes.
