Job summary

Children First Inc in Sarasota, Florida seeks a Health & Nutrition Services Coordinator to oversee the coordination and monitoring of health and nutrition services in Head Start programs.

The NHSC works with the Early Childhood Nurse and Family Services staff under the Director of Family Services, collecting data, ensuring quality, and supporting continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must communicate in English; bilingual in English/Spanish helpful.
• Associate degree required; health or nutrition field preferred.
• Strong computer skills required; data entry and reporting duties.
• Experience in health and/or nutrition services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor health and nutrition services per Head Start standards.
• Collect, analyze and report program data for quality improvement and compliance.
• Collaborate with Early Childhood Nurse and Family Services staff under the Director of Family Services.
• Provide training and guidance to staff and parents.
