Job summary

Palm Beach State College, Florida's first public community college, seeks an adjunct instructor to teach and support student learning across multiple health-related disciplines. You will deliver instruction, develop discipline-specific curricula, assess learning, and participate in program evaluation in alignment with the college's mission.

This role requires a master’s degree in health education, physical education, or a related field, plus proficiency with Canvas and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Health Education, Physical Education or Health-related field, or 18 graduate hours.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Canvas LMS and instructional technologies.
• Ability to interact positively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, interprets, and executes administrative procedures and practices.
• This activity includes developing and maintaining manuals regarding the College's policies, procedures, rules, and standards.
• Analyzes class and program needs of the College.
• Determines and recommends the retention or deletion of courses.
• Develops and coordinates program and course schedules, faculty assignments, and test dates.
• Maintains calendar as necessary to track these schedules and adjusts as required.
