Job summary

Crossroads Youth & Family Services, Inc. in Noble, OK is seeking a Head Start Teacher to create and manage a warm, engaging learning environment for young children. The role reports to the Lead Teacher and impacts families through developmentally appropriate activities.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in ECE/CD with six ECE/CD courses or a CDA credential, plus a valid driver’s license. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in ECE/CD with six ECE/CD courses.
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with insurance.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a warm, developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children.
• Incorporate activities that meet the group and individual needs of children.
• Report to Lead Teacher and to Area Supervisor as assigned.
• Foster family involvement and collaborative teamwork in the program.
