Job summary

Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Agency is seeking a Site Cook 2 for the Head Start program. This on-call role (up to 19 hours per week) covers multiple sites within Woodburn, Salem, Dallas, Independence, Jefferson, and Stayton, preparing breakfasts, lunches and snacks for children.

The position requires a valid driver license, background checks, and ability to follow CACFP guidelines while collaborating with classroom staff on nutrition activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year experience cooking for groups of 25 or more people.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation, cooking, and cleaning in line with CACFP guidelines.
• Prepare meals according to menus and dietary needs.
• Follow recipes and menus to ensure consistent quality for children.
