Job summary

The Meadows Foundation in Dallas, TX seeks a Program Associate to support grantmaking activities and manage information flows for prospective and current grantees. You will work under the supervision of a Senior Program Officer, gathering and shaping data and creating written deliverables and presentations.

You will also assist with emergency grant requests, engage with grantees, and help coordinate program planning across multiple areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a grantmaking role preferred.
• Basic understanding of health, education, human services and environmental issues and disparities within Texas.
• Ability to prioritize overlapping projects to complete work in a timely and fiscally responsible manner.
• Ability to work independently and on a team; maintain confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Review, research, and evaluate grant requests.
• Interact with grantees and prospective grantees to guide the application and review process.
• Develop in-house reports, write-ups, and presentations in collaboration with staff.
• Manage a small portfolio of grants as assigned.
• Lead monthly virtual information session calls for prospective applicants.
• Collaborate with program staff and other foundations on grantmaking strategies.
