Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA seeks a Space Full Stack Software Engineer to own and evolve mission-critical applications across manufacturing and Starlink platforms. You will build scalable software, prototype new solutions, and collaborate across teams to solve hard problems in a fast-paced mission-driven environment.

You will work on frontend and backend systems, leverage Docker/Kubernetes, and optimize performance while aligning with SpaceX’s high standards and rapid cadence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software experience in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of full stack development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX.
• Create new applications that improve SpaceX operations.
• Build prototypes to prove design concepts and quantify constraints.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development.
• Deep dive into users’ problems to find efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design, and code reviews with the team.
