Perdue Farms is seeking a Feed Delivery Logistics Supervisor in Forsyth, GA to drive timely feed delivery and production performance. You will coordinate production and delivery schedules, create feed projections, and manage field inventory, partnering with internal teams and growers to maximize efficiency and ensure on-time, accurate shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong reading, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate feed projections to support efficient milling and delivery operations.
• Plan and optimize delivery schedules to maximize efficiency, including full loads, minimizing split loads, and reducing miles per trip.
• Monitor and manage field inventory levels to prevent feed outages and ensure bins remain adequately stocked.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, mill operators, supervisors, and growers to prioritize deliveries based on operational needs.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies and errors, identify root causes, recommending improvement opportunities to leadership and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with reporting, analytics, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
• Manage dispatch operations as needed to ensure timely delivery.
• Track and support key performance indicators (KPIs) such as tons per load, miles per trip, number of splits, and loads per driver.
• Supervise Feed Mill Dispatchers managing Hours of Service, driver efficiency / optimization and performance management.
