AltaMed Health Services seeks a Staff Physician specializing in Family Practice to provide comprehensive medical services in Commerce, CA. The role supports AltaMed’s team-based care model, focusing on population health and integrated delivery of care.

Requirements include an active California medical license and board certification or eligibility with plans to achieve board certification within 18 months. A valid BLS and EMR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience and training as a physician is required.
• Valid, unrestricted medical license in California required or board eligibility with plan to become board certified within 18 months.
• Malpractice coverage under AltaMed underwriting; licensure and certifications required.
• EMR/EHR systems experience preferred; leadership experience preferred, not required.
• A valid BLS certification or higher is required per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical services to AltaMed patients in our clinic setting.
• Delivers care aligned with the Team-Based Care Model and population health approach.
• Collaborates with care teams to ensure evidence-based, resource-efficient delivery of services.
