Home of Guiding Hands in El Cajon, CA is seeking an experienced Events Manager to lead fundraising and community events that support our mission of improving lives for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

You will work with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to create events that build relationships, increase engagement, and generate support for HGH programs. This role is on-site and full-time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years in nonprofit development or related.
• Experience with event planning and donor relations.
• Strong organization and project management.
• Public speaking and donor interaction comfort.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute fundraising and community events from start to finish.
• Develop event goals, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate venues, vendors, volunteers, and logistics.
• Develop corporate sponsorships and solicit in-kind donations.
• Manage event marketing, webpages, and collateral.
• Recruit and train event volunteers.
• Represent HGH at community events.
