Job summary

Sunray Elementary School in Holiday, FL seeks a Teacher for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) - Varying Exceptionalities (VE) for the 2026-2027 anticipanted vacancy. You will develop and implement an instructional program for ESE students and align with IEPs while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in ESE or related field and Florida Educator certificate, with preferred Reading Endorsement. This is a full-time 196-day position with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Exceptional Student Education, or related field.
• Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program.
• Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification, or valid statement of eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an instructional program for ESE students.
• Create curriculum, lesson plans, and individual education plans (IEPs).
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
