Pasco County Schools SAN ANTONIO ELEMENTARY - Dade City, Florida is seeking a Teacher for Exceptional Student Education (ESE) with Varying Exceptionalities (VE) for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full-time, 196 days per year, with benefit eligibility and an immediate starting date.

License requirements include Florida Educator’s Certificate or district adjunct certification. Candidates with a Reading Endorsement or willing to earn it may be prioritized; this is an open-until-filled

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Exceptional Student Education, or related field.
Approval by or participation in a state-approved certification pathway program.
Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate or District-issued adjunct certification.
Valid statement of eligibility.
Reading Endorsement preferred; Candidates may be prioritized for hiring if endorsed or willing to earn endorsement.

Responsibilities

Develop, plan, organize, and implement an instructional program for ESE students.
Create curriculum, lesson plans, educational programs and IEP development.
Ensure procedures meet federal, state, local regulations and safety requirements.
Collaborate with school staff to support student needs.
