The role emphasizes collaboration with regular education teachers, development and implementation of IEPs, and ongoing progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education and HQ status in the subject areas.
• Certified in at least two areas of Exceptional Education (preferred).
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SIS and email communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead parent and student conferencing according to school policy.
• Deliver instruction in modalities instituted by the school and assigned program.
• Maintain IEPs, Quarterly Reports, and Progress Monitoring for caseload.
• Collaborate with regular education teachers to monitor student progress and compliance.
• Proctor standardized tests and complete student progress reports four times a year.
