Job summary

The Safety Specialist at ServiceSource, Inc. will support NCW and Arnold sites by administering environmental permits, waste management, and safety programs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will assist the site safety manager and help maintain documentation and training records.

Ideal candidates have a degree in safety or environmental fields, relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety/environmental field preferred.
• High school diploma or state-certified equivalent required.
• Four or more years' experience with environmental, safety and health programs preferred.
• Valid driver's license and/or reliable transportation for work travel required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
• Previous experience in conducting environmental, safety, and health programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers environmental permits and waste management at NCW and Arnold sites.
• Supports the site safety program manager and maintains safety program files management system.
• Manages Safety Annex performance, scheduling, and communications during absences.
• Promotes an open, credible safety culture focused on customers and ServiceSource's mission.
• Documents health-related complaints and inspects facilities for compliance with health regulations.
• Inspect and evaluate workplace environments for safety and environmental compliance.
• Plan, coordinate, and attend Safety Committee meetings.
• Attend project meetings to assess environmental impacts of upcoming projects.
• Coordinate safety and environmental training and recordkeeping for NCW and ServiceSource staff.
• Real Property subject matter expert; train staff and participate in NGA Real Property Working Group.
• Manage environmental inspections by other agencies; report findings and drive corrective actions.
• Develop team goals; monitor productivity and performance.
