Via Logic LLC is seeking an ELS Engineer to maintain log collection infrastructure and support the health of ELS and SIEM platforms for a government cybersecurity program in Ashburn, VA. The role includes configuring log sources, onboarding data feeds from various sources, and developing parsers and correlation rules to aid analysts and stakeholders.

The position offers multiple levels (Junior to Senior) with responsibilities scaling by experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise logging, SIEM administration, and security engineering.
• Ability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot log collection infrastructure.
• Familiarity with logs flow from source to centralized platform and dashboards.

Responsabilités

• Maintain enterprise log collection infrastructure and ensure health of ELS and SIEM platforms.
• Configure, onboard, and maintain log sources for security monitoring across systems and cloud.
• Troubleshoot data feeds, ingestion issues, and connectivity problems.
• Develop and test log parsers, correlation rules, and security content.
• Create dashboards supporting security monitoring and audit reporting.
