Job summary

Salas O’Brien seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases from scope to completion. You will coordinate with clients, architects and engineers, manage budgets, schedules and resources, and present progress to stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid work, limited travel, and a base salary range of $95,000–$120,000 USD per year, with performance bonuses and a comprehensive U.S.-based benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with previous experience managing large and/or complex projects.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and/or PMP certification desired.
• 10+ years of experience in project management with at least 4 years managing large-scale projects.
• Proven leadership and staff development interests and capabilities.
• Proven major project design capabilities and versatility.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex multi-discipline projects (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, structural, architecture).
• Coordinate information flow from client/contractor to project team.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Organize and lead project meetings and prepare status reports.
• Monitor change management and maintain effective communications.
• Provide financials and billings to accounting and prepare client invoices.
• Support contract negotiations and client stakeholder interactions.
• Create presentations and translate engineering results for non-technical audiences.
