Job summary

Grow Public Schools is seeking an Elementary & Middle School Teacher to deliver standards-aligned instruction, support student health and wellness, and collaborate with coaches, ESY, and learning lab staff to achieve schoolwide goals. The role reports to the principal and requires a California teaching credential.

The position emphasizes differentiated instruction, ongoing assessment, and active family communication, with emphasis on building a college-going culture and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CA teaching credential or intern credential with English Learner Authorization.
• Mastery of classroom skills including management, planning, assessment and instructional practice.
• Proficiency with various technologies and teaching tools.
• Bilingual ability preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver standards-aligned lessons and assessments.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners (ELs and/or students with IEPs).
• Participate in weekly instructional coaching activities and apply feedback.
• Incorporate ESY and experiential learning initiatives with Edible Schoolyard.
• Maintain records and communicate with families and staff.
• Deliver SEL curriculum and support campus-wide goals.
