Schools of Perea seeks an Elementary Teacher for 3rd–6th grade to deliver core subjects and a daily Social Emotional Learning curriculum. You will work with an Instructional Assistant to create a fully integrated learning day for students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record.
• Valid Tennessee Teacher License or eligibility for emergency credentials.
• Personal and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with a fully-integrated learning day.
• Teach fundamental subjects including social studies, science, language arts and math.
• Integrate a research-based Social Emotional Learning curriculum daily.
• Collaborate with an Instructional Assistant to support student learning.
• Communicate with parents and students regularly regarding progress.
• Model appropriate classroom behaviors and positive discipline aligned to school practices.
