Job summary

MilliporeSigma is hiring an Environmental, Health and Safety Technician to support three Madison-area locations and one Verona site. The role focuses on maintaining regulatory compliance, handling hazardous materials, and implementing safety programs.

You will collect and ship hazardous materials, train staff on safety processes, and help with incident investigations and drills while supporting EHS reporting and equipment calibration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer literacy with MS Office and similar tools.
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure equipment and processes meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Collect, transfer, package, and ship chemicals and hazardous materials per regulations; manage packing area and inventory.
• Train colleagues on processes, conduct incident investigations, and support drills and reporting.
