Job summary

The Office of State Human Resources, Temporary Solutions division in Rocky Mount, NC seeks an Early Intervention Service Coordinator (S) to collaborate with families and providers. This temporary role focuses on developing IFSPs, coordinating services, and supporting transition planning for early intervention services.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in Education or Psychology (or related field) and relevant experience; equivalency options are described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or psychology with two years of professional experience working with the population served.
• Or bachelor’s degree in human services with three years of professional experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience as allowed by policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) with families and providers.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to determine families’ needs for supports and services.
• Conduct home visits and coordinate/ facilitate services and transition planning.
• Participate in the authorization and monitoring of early intervention services.
