MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a Teacher – House of Mercy to support children’s learning and development within the House of Mercy program. You will follow an approved curriculum, assess progress, and foster social-emotional growth in a nurturing, non-biased setting.

The ideal candidate holds a CDA or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) with CPR/First Aid certification, plus required trainings on child abuse reporting and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or higher in ECE is required.
• Associates or bachelor's degree in ECE or related field required.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification within 3 months of hire.
• Mandatory abuse reporting training within 30 days.
• Pre-service training must be completed within 90 days.
• Universal precautions training within 30 days.
• ISU-Passport to ECE orientation within 90 days.
