Job summary

ASG Home Care is actively hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities throughout New Jersey. We offer $18–$24/hour with flexible hours and local cases across the state.

As a DSP, you will work one-on-one with individuals, promoting independence, daily living skills, and community participation while following each person's ISP. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
