Job summary

Beacon Group in Tucson, AZ is seeking a reliable driver to pick up and deliver bins, with the ability to lift 50 lbs, push 300 lbs in rolling bins, and walk long distances. This hands-on role includes safety checks, vehicle maintenance, and serving a team of adults with disabilities.

You will train and supervise the daily route, ensure compliance with DOT and Beacon policies, and deliver courteous, high‑quality customer service to clients and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of customer service experience.
• You must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes and pass drug, credit and background checks.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License and Beacon driving test requirements.
• Provide proof of good driving history (MVR) and DOT readiness as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate a large commercial vehicle safely and in accordance with local and state laws.
• Deliver and pick up bins and materials on schedule; keep logs and tickets accurate.
• Coach and mentor Clients assigned to the daily route; maintain client documentation.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks.
• Ensure all passengers wear seat belts and report incidents promptly.
• Follow Beacon policies, DOT regulations, and maintain professional conduct.
