Merakey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our Elkins Park program. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities across daily activities, encourage social skills, and promote independence.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Verifiable High School diploma/G.E.D preferred.
• Experience in a home health aide setting, or school setting working with people who have Intellectual and Developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, personal care, and daily hygiene.
• Encourage social interaction and development of communication skills.
• Follow the Individual Support Plan and help individuals navigate daily living activities such as housekeeping and laundry.
