Job summary

The Arc Mid Hudson is seeking an On-Call Direct Support Professional to provide support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities at 9W Apartments in Catskill.

A high school diploma or GED is desired; NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are required. Training includes Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration. On-call/as-needed hours pay $18.56–$20.42 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desired.
• Post-high-school education in Human Services is a definite plus.
• An acceptable NYS driver's license and basic computer knowledge are a must.
• Training will include Van Certification, SCIP, First Aid/CPR, and Medication Administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training to people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in residential settings and within the community.
• Collaborate with the cohesive team to motivate, influence, and enrich the lives of residents at 9W Apartments.
