Beacon Specialized Living Services in Allentown, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals for 2nd and 3rd shifts. No experience required; training provided to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges.

You will assist with daily activities, meal prep, transportation, medication administration, and promoting independence in a caring, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals who have mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
• 1–2 years of healthcare or social services experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work with potential exposure to aggression and infectious disease.

Responsibilities
