Hope Network in Michigan is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for full-time 1st shift at Garden Cove. You will support individuals to build independence and integrate into their community with compassionate, person-centered care.

Responsibilities include safety monitoring, accident prevention, health management, and helping with daily living tasks. Requirements include a diploma, valid MI license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Valid State of Michigan driver’s license.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required.
• Commitment to full-time/part-time shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 with one-on-one or group checks.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Assist individuals in activities of daily living and community participation.
• Attend medical appointments and relay information between providers and care team.
• Document care plans accurately and timely.
• Encourage independence and social/leisure activities.
