Job summary

J Street is seeking undergraduate or graduate students or recent graduates for a Development and Leadership Intern role for New England. The position offers a remote arrangement with optional in-person opportunities in Boston or Chicago, for the fall and spring semesters.

The internship focuses on outreach, research, events, and donor relations as part of a nonprofit advocacy team. Responsibilities include supporting advocacy events, donor research, database updates, and outreach communications.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to J Street’s pro-Israel, pro-peace, diplomacy-first mission.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite; experience with Salesforce database management and Excel a plus.
• Eager to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• A positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with logistics and outreach for advocacy events

• Making phone calls / writing emails to supporters and new activists
