Qualifications

• Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Ability to participate in growth-focused coaching with frequent observations and action planning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks.
• Experience working in an urban environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify during the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and development.
• Utilize research-based daily planning and classroom instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for student learning.
• Collaborate and communicate with families regarding student growth.
• Incorporate technology into daily classroom practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
