Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to inmates under physician and/or registered nurse supervision.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations or treatments and assist as needed.
• Maintain rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and stock supplies.
• Coordinate with medical and ancillary staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' condition.
• Provide nursing interventions in emergencies and ensure compliance with state requirements.
