You will analyze financial statements, collateral, and liquidity, support renewals and modifications, and communicate findings to the Credit Department while pursuing opportunities to deepen client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• 5–10 years of strong credit analyst experience and/or portfolio management skills.
• Ability to independently underwrite commercial loans.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills; proficient with computer tools.
• Valid driver's license with travel, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Conducts independent financial statement, covenant and collateral analysis for Corporate Banking clients.
• Manages an assigned portfolio of relationships with RM support; adjusts size/complexity by service level.
• Manages pipeline of annual/interim reviews, covenant testing, renewals and modifications.
• Cultivates new business opportunities from existing corporate clients and supports cross-sell.
• Monitors client performance versus plan and covenant compliance; reports deterioration.
• Proactively manages renewals and extensions of maturing notes.
• Collaborates on risk mitigation strategies with RM and Credit Department.
• Prepares loan modification requests and reports.
• Ensures portfolio meets internal policy and regulatory expectations.
• Formulates independent risk rating conclusions and recommendations.
