Job summary

St. Louis Arc is seeking a Community Support Specialist for the Creve Coeur Day Program. This full-time, on-site position supports adults with developmental disabilities, planning community activities and assisting with daily living tasks.

You will transport participants, coordinate with the team, and document progress while engaging in a supportive, inclusive work culture. Competitive hourly wage with benefits and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with three years of driving experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; experience with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• One or more years supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach skills that increase independence and community participation.
• Plan meaningful daily activities for 1–4 participants.
• Lead activities in community and at the Day Center.
• Transport participants to activities in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
• Document care and progress: reports, MARs, notes per timelines.
