Job summary

Bachelor's degree plus two years' experience required; a valid Utah driver's license may be required. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, develop partnerships, and ensure safety and quality across facilities and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation or related field; plus two years of related experience with supervision/management.
• Valid Utah driver's license may be required to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs and feasibility for a wide variety of recreation, sports, childcare, and leisure-time programs.
• Plan, promote, implement, and manage special events for diverse community groups.
• Supervise staff: hiring, training, performance reviews, and discipline.
• Develop annual program action plans in line with Division guidelines.
• Create partnerships and coordinate with other organizations for joint programming.
• Review programs for effectiveness and ensure safety and cleanliness standards.
