Job summary

ACR Health Services in Georgia is seeking a part-time community behavioral health registered nurse (RN) to provide compassionate nursing care to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, offer therapy, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including crisis intervention and discharge planning, in clinic and home/community settings.

Qualifications

• Nurse must hold a current Georgia RN license.
• Experience in behavioral health or similar setting is beneficial.
• Ability to work in community-based settings and clinics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy as appropriate.
• Respond to crises and ensure patient safety through de-escalation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and peers.
• Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatments.
• Advocate for patient needs and connect to community resources.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
