Vadis is seeking a dedicated, energetic professional to support individuals with disabilities in community activities in Seattle. From day one you will be supported by caring managers and colleagues, using the latest technology to help clients live more independently.

Daily tasks include outreach, intake, person-centered planning, coaching, and coordinating services with agencies to build skills and independence, while ensuring quality services and opportunities across the community.

Qualifications

• Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Personal use of a vehicle, with proper insurance coverage due to variances in client work hours and worksites.
• Driver’s license with favorable driving record.
• Ability to pass initial and ongoing criminal background checks.

Responsabilités

• Conduct outreach and orientation activities relative to prospective clients.
• Facilitate intake for those accepted into Community Inclusion (CI) services, including review of services, orientation checklist, and preparation of case file.
• Develop personalized activities to build skills such as volunteer and community readiness, social skills, self-advocacy, and self-motivation through individual coaching.
• Serve as liaison between clients and the community to assist in the resolution of challenging situations, using proactive problem-solving skills.
• Assure quality services are provided to clients, community members, businesses, clubs, recreational organizations, and other community entities.
