Job summary

Terminix International is hiring Commercial Pest Control Technicians to perform industry-leading pest management services for commercial properties. You will inspect client sites, determine infestation types, apply treatments, and provide preventative measures while communicating solutions to customers.

The role requires safety-first execution, strong communication, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Available to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills—add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Licenses/certificates as required by regulations (covered by us).
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, safely and in accordance with safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
• Provide advice on reducing the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers and schedule/confirm appointments; assist with sales.
• Maintain pest control equipment and ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding products and safety protocols.
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.
