Job summary

Children's Aid seeks an College & Career Access Coordinator to strengthen cradle-through-college programs for FDA III and surrounding schools. You will design curriculum, coordinate exposure activities, and support students and families toward college readiness and successful transitions.

Reporting to the Community School Director, you will work with Beacon Program Director and school staff, use data to monitor progress, and lead efforts to expand access to higher education opportunities for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology or a related field is required.
• New York State Teaching Certificate is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in college and career counseling or related fields.
• Familiarity with US higher education system, especially NYC and NY State.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual scope and sequence for college & career readiness classes.
• Coordinate on-site exposure activities and visits for students and families.
• Assess learning needs and develop academic plans for targeted support.
• Teach or provide 1:1 coaching in college and career readiness.
• Monitor progress using data on credits, Regents, and graduation risk.
• Collaborate with site staff to run after-school programs and attendance efforts.
