Job summary

Nest & Care is seeking Personal Caregivers to provide compassionate, hands-on care to clients in their home settings in Montgomery County, MD. If you have empathy and a desire to help others, join our team.

Qualifications

• Caregivers with at least 1 year of caregiving experience across agencies, nursing homes, group homes, or similar settings.
• Caregivers must have no attendance issues.
• Caregivers should believe they can make a positive difference for clients.
• Ability to perform personal and companion care, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and hygiene.
• Read and follow care plans and assessments to provide consistent quality care.
• Adhere to company policies (dress code, time off, call-out, etc.).
• Clock in/out on shift using client systems.
• Observe changes in client health or behavior and report to Nest & Care as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal and companion care per care plans.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Read and follow client care plans and assessments.
• Adhere to all company policies and shift procedures.
• Clock in/out on appropriate systems for each client.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS are:

• Caregivers or CMT's with at least one (1) year of caregiving experience working or have worked in any agencies, nursing homes, group homes, assisted living, etc.
• Caregivers with no attendance issues
• Can work from Mondays through Fridays from 8am to 8pm.
• Caregivers who believe that they can make a difference in the lives of their clients
• Caregivers who can perform personal and companion care - provide hands-on care, which may include assisting with bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Reads the client’s care plan and assessments and provides consistent quality care based upon the care plan for each client
• Adheres to all company policies, including dress code, time off, call-out, etc.
• Clocks in and out of every shift worked on the appropriate systems associated with the client or clients they are servicing
• Observes clients recognize changes in their behavior or health, then notifies the appropriate personnel of Nest & Care if necessary
