Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Adheres to documentation standards (evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries).
• Participates in patient and family conferences, in-service programs, and meetings.
• Discharges planning with education and training for patients and families.
• Coordinates and supervises SLP student and volunteer programs.
• Assists with orientation, scheduling, staff supervision, and performance improvement activities.
• Maintains productive department operations and community referrals.
