Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine seeks a licensed social worker to provide direct psychological, social, and practical care to a defined caseload. You will perform social work assessments, set goals, and implement care plans while coordinating with outside agencies for continuity of care.

The role requires an MSW from an accredited program and LGSW licensure in Maryland, along with about one year of clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• MSW degree from an accredited school of social work.
• Must be licensed by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners at the LGSW level.
• 1 year of experience in providing clinical social work in mental health/health care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct psychological, social, and practical care to a select caseload and implement care plans.
• Make referrals to outside agencies and coordinate continuity of care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and support organizational goals.
• Provide coverage during absences, vacancies and on-call periods.
