Responsibilities

• Independently or with others recruits and enrolls research subjects onto clinical research projects according to study protocols.
• Assess eligibility of research subjects based on records and protocol.
• Discuss informed consent with subjects and assist with scheduling tests.
• Learns protocol and monitors adherence by physicians, nurses and subjects.
• Extracts data from hospital records and enters into the database.
• Assists with insurance approval for subject participation and scheduling tests.
• Assists investigator with correspondence with IRB.
• As needed, may perform duties in other clinics related to clinical research.
