• Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
• Develops and maintains a classroom environment conductive to effective learning with provided resources.
• Prepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence of preparation upon request from immediate superior.
• Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Employs a variety of instructional techniques and media to suit students’ needs and locations.
• Strives to implement the district’s education philosophy and objectives.
• Takes precautions to protect students, equipment, and facilities.
• Evaluates student progress on a regular basis.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and policy.
• Assists in upholding school rules and regulations.
• Makes provisions for accessibility to students and parents outside instructional hours when required.
• Attends and participates in faculty meetings.
• Cooperates with staff to plan instructional goals and methods.
• Assists in selecting books, equipment, and materials.
• Contributes to co-curricular activities as assigned.
• Establishes open lines of communication with students and parents concerning academic and behavioral progress.
