Responsibilities

• Assist licensed chemical dependency counselors in client assessments and intake procedures.
• Monitor client progress and document behavioral changes and treatment adherence.
• Coordinate scheduling of counseling sessions, group meetings, and follow-up appointments.
• Provide educational materials and resources to clients and families regarding substance use and recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Support crisis intervention efforts by recognizing signs of distress and promptly reporting to appropriate staff.
• Facilitate communication between clients, counselors, and external healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and treatment protocols.
